The Monterey volunteer planning committee announced today that plans are being made to Celebrate Octoberfest ,on October 12th (Saturday), in the Town of Monterey.
The goal of the festivities is to raise money and awareness for the towns newly acquired 'Community Center'.
Located on Route 23, east of the town center, the community center grounds will play host to an afternoon of beer, wine, bratwurst, music and more.
